The Art of Glass
“My work is influenced by the potential of glass; I am attracted by its capacity to adopt form and texture and the unique ability it has for light reflection/refraction and optical illusion.”
Gavin Marshall’s work ranges from functional vessels to sculptural installations, with glass creations that are incorporated into interiors and architecture. He is currently exploring different techniques of surface finishes including photography on glass.

Cobalt Studios Presents: An exhibition of new works by selected artists on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of May.
Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th, 11am – 4pm, the gallery will be open to the public.
Resident artists will be showing new work and spring–cleaning their studios to find previously unseen work. There will also be a selection of artists samples on display giving an insight into the commissioning process many artista are involved with. Gavin Marshall will be officially launching his new website including his new range of photographs on glass.
NB: There are no card payment facilities in the gallery so please bring alternative means of payment.
